- 1 lb 450 g ground beef
- ½ cup yellow onion finely diced
- ½ cup dill pickles chopped
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 large egg beaten (for egg wash)
- Cooking spray or 1 tbsp olive oil
For serving (optional)
- Ketchup-mayo dipping sauce
- Extra pickles or sliced beef
Prepare the filling
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
Drain excess fat, then stir in diced onion, chopped pickles, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
When the beef is fully cooked and seasoned, remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted. Let cool slightly.
Assemble the rolls
Lay one egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner facing you.
Spoon about ¼ cup of the cheeseburger filling into the center.
Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the side corners, then roll tightly toward the top corner.
Brush the final edge with beaten egg to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
Air-fry to crispy perfection
Preheat your air fryer to 350 °F.
Lightly spray each roll with cooking spray (or brush with olive oil).
Place 3–4 rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crisp.
Serve and enjoy
Transfer rolls to a platter and let rest 1–2 minutes.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce—classic ketchup-mayo blend, big mac sauce, or spicy aioli.
Tip: To reheat leftovers, simply air-fry at 350 °F for 3–5 minutes to restore that crispy shell.
