Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks with juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 package slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Whisk together the BBQ sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  • Pour the sauce and pineapple chunks over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it well with the sauce remaining in the slow cooker.
  • Serve the shredded Hawaiian BBQ chicken on slider buns topped with coleslaw.
