Ingredients

Gelatin Base

  • 1 packet Unflavored gelatin (7g) e.g., Knox brand
  • 1 scoop Whey protein isolate or collagen powder (30g)
  • 0.25 cup Cold water
  • 1 cup Hot water or boiling liquid base

Flavor & Sweetness

  • 0.25 cup Green tea, tart cherry juice, or pomegranate juice
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Stevia or monk fruit sweetener

Instructions

  • Bloom the gelatin: Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over a small amount of cold water and let it sit for several minutes until it hydrates and thickens.
  • Prepare the liquid base: Heat your chosen liquid (water, green tea, or juice) until it reaches a boiling point.
  • Dissolve: Pour the hot liquid over the bloomed gelatin and stir continuously until the mixture is completely clear and the gelatin has dissolved.
  • Enrich with protein: Whisk in the whey protein isolate or collagen powder until the mixture is smooth and free of clumps.
  • Sweeten and flavor: Add the stevia or monk fruit sweetener and a splash of apple cider vinegar if desired for metabolic benefits.
  • Portion: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or muffin tins to create individual servings.
  • Set: Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or until the gelatin is firm and fully set.
