14ozstore-bought angel food cakecubed
2cupsfresh strawberrieshulled and sliced
2cupsfresh blueberries
Whipped Cream
2cupsheavy whipping cream
0.25cuppowdered sugar
1tspvanilla extract
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Place half of the cubed angel food cake into the bottom of a large trifle bowl.
Add an even layer of sliced strawberries, followed by half of the whipped cream.
Add the remaining angel food cake, then an even layer of blueberries, and top with the remaining whipped cream.
Garnish the top with remaining berries in a festive red, white, and blue pattern. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
Notes
