  • 1 bag (12 oz) Red Wilton Candy Melts or Ghirardelli Vanilla Melting Wafers
  • 1 bag (12 oz) White Wilton Candy Melts or Ghirardelli Vanilla Melting Wafers
  • 1 bag (12 oz) Blue Wilton Candy Melts or Ghirardelli Vanilla Melting Wafers

Decorations & Tools

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil (for thinning chocolate)
  • 0.25 cup patriotic sprinkles and nonpareils
  • 24 lollipop sticks
  • 3 Ziploc bags (for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or use a silicone Oreo mold for a flawless finish.
  • Carefully insert a lollipop stick into the cream center of each Double Stuf Oreo cookie.
  • Place the red, white, and blue candy melts into three separate microwave-safe bowls.
  • Microwave each bowl of candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth to prevent scorching.
  • If the melted chocolate is too thick, stir in a small amount of coconut oil to thin it out for easier dipping.
  • Dip each Oreo cookie into the melted chocolate, using a fork to gently tap off the excess chocolate without shaking the cookie apart.
  • Place the dipped Oreos onto the parchment paper. Transfer remaining melted chocolate into Ziploc bags, snip a tiny corner off, and drizzle contrasting colors over the cookies for a bakery-style finish.
  • Immediately top with patriotic sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  • Allow the coated Oreos to set completely at room temperature or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until firm.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.
