Ingredients
12ozrotini or penne
14ozkielbasasliced into ½-inch rounds
1Tbspolive oil
1small oniondiced
2garlic clovesminced
1cuptomato sauceplain or basil
1cupheavy cream
½cupgrated Parmesanplus extra to serve
1tspItalian seasoning
¼tspred pepper flakesoptional
Salt and black pepper to taste
1cupbaby spinachroughly chopped (optional)
Instructions
Boil pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup water, drain.
Brown kielbasa in oil, 4 min. Remove.
Sauté onion 3 min, add garlic 30 sec.
Stir in tomato sauce and cream; simmer 3 min.
Add sausage, pasta, Parmesan, and pasta water as needed. Fold in spinach.
Season and serve with extra cheese.
